but dont u think there is too much detail everywhere...at first glance i was confused coz there is too much detail u have done in their dress and in the props they have..i mean u should allow some white space for the viewer...and thats good for prominence and dominence also. isnt it? and the background is also blending with the figure...as someone mentioned above... forgive me if im talking too much. u have a huge talent...no doubt ! i always like ur work.

The only critique I have is that the figures in the foreground don't seem to stand out enough...they blend right into the scenery...Doesn't seeeem to be enough variation in the shading between fore and back...that, and the standing bearded guy in the mid area - his left arm looks a little odd.

Beyond that - your details are just effing amazing...Fantastic work!

I don't understand the obsession some GFXers have with backgrounds...the new background to this tells us nothing more about the characters in this drawing or their story and precious little about their world...other than it has rocks!!!....

I think you were wrong to be bullied into adding to this already excellent drawing....and have in fact merely muddied your illustrative narrative.
